Jonathan is a technology executive, entrepreneur, and investor with 20+ years of experience building and scaling global organizations. He founded two companies — both successfully acquired — before joining Amazon through the acquisition of his cloud startup in 2012. Over 14 years at Amazon, he grew the Berlin Development Center from its first AWS teams to 2,600+ employees, held P&L ownership for 14 AWS services in Developer Tools and Generative AI, and served as managing director across three legal entities in two countries. His most recent work at Amazon includes launching Amazon Q Developer (now Kiro) and spearheading Agentic AI initiatives at AWS.
Jonathan now advises, invests in, and builds alongside companies navigating the shift to AI — from early-stage startups to established organizations rethinking how they operate. His focus: how Generative AI and agentic systems are fundamentally reshaping software development and transforming how companies build products and operate at scale. He is a frequent speaker at conferences including AWS re:Invent, WeAreDevelopers, and GITEX.
